About Lady Eve Marlowe from my Spice novel, Cleopatra’s Perfume:

Eve as the Golden Goddess
“I always prided myself on being a dancer who didn’t merely execute movements, but who experienced the dance through the pulsating rhythms inside me. I wanted to experience an erotic dreamscape as I had never done before, my spirit fusing with technique, re-defining my art not as something impermanent but as a lasting impression on the audience so deep it scarred a portion of their soul. ”

Interesting photo! And Eve’s words about dancing is so true. I think a good dance with feel like a writer, live the life of the creation.
In Quest of Theta Magic
Thankz, Enid. I like to think of dancing and writing as a creative flow that emits from your fingertips and reaches into the heart of the audience/reader.
I shot this photo of the Art Deco golden statue at the Park Plaza Hotel in LA–the old hotel was built in 1925 and is now used for many film locations. The golden girl reminded me of Lady Eve Marlowe when she dances nude covered in gold paint at the Cleopatra Club in Cairo.
Good snap i like it
