Sometimes you meet a person–these days it’s more likely to be online–and you just know they’re going to rise to the top.
Such a person for me was Shobhan Bantwal, the author of “The Sari Shop Widow,” a fascinating novel set in a bustling and colorful neighborhood called Little India.” (Borders blurb).
We took an online PR class together when her first book was coming out (“The Dowry Bride“) and she was so eager to learn about the book business and how it works. She was the one of the hardest working members of the class.
All her efforts have paid off. She’s the author of three novels from Kensington and today–
She’s blogging at the True Romance Blog with Sue Grimshaw at Borders about how she started writing and her latest release. Be sure to read Shoban’s blog and check out Sue Grimshaw’s video introducing her.
Way to go, Shobhan!
